What to do - In the event of an Unexpected Death
| If the death is unexpected, for instance if the death is accidental or unexplained then contact the police and do not touch anything in the room. The death may then be referred to the Coroner. The police will attend the place of death and will, in due course call ourselves on your behalf. Usually, we will be asked to move the deceased to the local hospital mortuary. |
